[Stan grins and holds up the camera, thumb hovering over the shutter button. Then, without much more warning than that, Stan puts a cold arm around Fern's shoulder and tugs him close to pull him in frame. He sure seems like he might've known how to do this already!]
[Wow, warn a guy why don't you!!! Fern has no clue what's going on the entire time until Stan is yanking him close and snapping the picture. Of course, since he has no clue it really isn't the best pictures that Stan is getting. He looks shocked and his eyes are looking a lot more serpentine than human.]
[Fern huffs, but as he realizes what's going on he settles down, his features shifting back to something more normal. He's not mad, not at all, especially when he knows what the photo is for.]
You could've warned me, dude. I probably look more awful than normal in that one.

Wh - dude!
[He's even hissing a little. It's totally fine.]

Ha! Got it!
[Even if they take another picture, Stan's still keeping that one. It's very, very funny to catch someone off guard.]
Look, I didn't have any pictures of us and I had to fix it!

[And in his defense, it was hilarious. But he'll at least be nice enough to let Fern see the damage.]
If you feel like doing another one, we can.

I guess you're right.
[He thinks that picture looks awful, though.]
Heck yes I do, one where I don't look like a dingus!
